eternal life, christian

Finally we see a soul is valuable when we see the terribleness of a soul that’s lost!

  • It’s terrible  if a person loses his/her health
  • It’s terrible if a person losses his/her money or friends
  • It’s even more terrible if a person losses his/her character.

But what about the loss of a soul?

We hear about little children  who are kidnapped and even killed, and rapes and murder of many people across our country. The newspapers print the story and the television stations report the stories, and we feel the pain and suffering of their family and friends….But if a person dies without accepting Christ and his/her soul is lost for all eternity, do we feel the pain and realize the terribleness of that, and yet to God the soul is more valuable and important then the whole world!

The Bible says in Matthew 5: 29-30 “If your right eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell. 30And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to go into hell. “

You see Jesus is trying to tell us – that’s there is nothing more important than your soul being saved and ready for heaven.

I ask you, Are you ready for heaven? Are you ready for eternity if you would die today? Are you sure?

Your soul is so important to God that He sent is only Son to die in our place on an old rugged cross on a hill called Golgotha, so you and I could be saved.

There was no other way that a soul could be saved, if any other way could have saved a person, God would not have had His Son go though the humiliation of being beaten with a whip, a crown of sharp thrones rammed down on his head so His blood dripped into the dust of Golgotha’s hill, and a sharp spear thrust into His side, and finally die a terrible cruel death on the cross.

What a tragedy it would today if you are reading this message and you realize you have truly never accepted Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord, Gods free gift for your salvation. What a tragedy it would be if you leave this website and never accept Christ and die and go into a dark eternity with no hope of a home in Heaven.

You say what do I have to do to be saved? I really don’t understand it all.

It’s very simple, just pray this simple prayer, and if your sincere, God will save you and give you a brand new life. It does not make any difference how bad or good you are. God will accept you just as your are.

Don’t let the devil prevent you from doing it.

Just pray this prayer:

Lord Jesus I believe you died for me.

I repent of my sins.

I ask you to come into my heart and save me.

I believe you rose from the dead.

I confess you as my only way to heaven.

With your help I want to live for you.

Thank you for saving my soul.

In Jesus Name Amen

Welcome to Gods family. Read your Bible every day and go to church this Sunday.

Let me close with just one final reminder of the value of a soul.

Heaven rejoices when a soul is saved. I was born in Maddock, North Dakota, and when I received Jesus as my savior, no one rejoiced in the streets of Maddock when I got saved, oh, maybe a few where glad.

But did you know there was great rejoicing in heaven! In Luke 15:4-7 it says Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Does he not leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep. I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.”

Could we ever measure the value of a soul. Could we ever fully understand it’s worth.
